When should use EarPlanes?
EarPlanes should be inserted prior to take-off and landing during your flight. They should be kept inserted until cabin pressure neutralizes.

What materials are EarPlanes earplugs made from?
The exterior of EarPlanes earplugs is soft, hypoallergenic silicone. Inside the earplug is a sensitive micro-ceramic filter which helps moderate barometric pressure shifts.
How do EarPlanes earplugs fit?
Regular size are designed to fit comfortably for adults. A smaller size is also available for children and those with smaller ears. Our recommendation is for the earplugs to have a snug fit, when inserted in your ear. If you happened to buy a size that doesn’t suit you, please let us know and we’ll work out a way to get you the other size!
Replace your pair of EarPlanes after 4-6 flights. This is because the micron-sized pores in the CeramX filter become clogged by dust and other minuscule particles in the air, potentially clogging the filter over time.

EarPlanes should be used prior to take-off and landing during rapid shifts in cabin pressure. When you receive a push notification of a cabin pressure change, you may insert EarPlanes earplugs immediately.
Can the EarPlanes+ app work while my phone is in airplane mode?
Yes, the EarPlanes+ app has works in airplane mode. The app does not require WiFi or cellular data.
